Auckland Water Polo Local Referee-Grade Workshop 11-12 November

Calling all ungraded referees-to-be! On November 11 and 12, Auckland Water Polo will be running a Local Referee-Grade workshop with the help from NZ Olympic Referee John Waldow. John has recently conducted quite some work in his function as WWR Chair of the Education Committee (check out WWR for water polo referee resources here: https://wwpra.org/ ) and completed a new approach and manual to get starters going on their pathway to becoming experienced water polo referees.

This workshop is ideal for those just starting out on their pathway as water polo referees- the Local Referee Grade is the first important step. Individuals must be 14 years of age to become a Local Referee. The workshop will be held from 09:30-12:00 on Saturday 11 November, and 09:30-12:00 on Sunday 12 November at St. Cuthbert’s College.
