From New Zealand Water Polo:
New Zealand Water Polo is the National Sport Organisation responsible for providing accessibility to lifelong and enjoyable water polo experiences.
The sport is at an important and pivotal time in history. How people, particularly young people, are choosing to consume recreation and sport is more diverse than ever before. More and more we must be driven by insights into what the participant wants and not just do the things the way they used to be done.
We must produce a development plan and membership and participation model that is modern, robust, fit for purpose now and over the next period.
Above all, we must have care, empathy and understanding for the well-being of our water polo community. It is the people that makes us stronger.
Applicants will have governance experience, strong financial and accounting ability, and an understanding or involvement in the not-for-profit, sport, active recreation, and/or well-being industry. The ability to think strategically within a team environment would be beneficial.
We welcome suitably qualified applicants from across New Zealand.
